British Gas is the largest UK energy and home services company. They supply gas and electricity, boilers and boiler cover as well as other home services.
Project:
British Gas Home IQ was introduced as a greenfield project and was to be written in Ember.JS.
It was our responsibility to act as a lead engineer and provide guidance to the engineering team as well as the stakeholders. We had to ensure that the Home IQ project tied in seamlessly with the existing home insurance platform.
Our responsibilities included:
- Maintaining a scrum team.
- Introducing ceremonies from the agile methodology.
- Creating and updating components to fit the British Gas library.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruitment.
